K & M Engineers works in a variety of materials, with standard turning capabilities up to 52mm. We specialise in smaller components, working to extremely tight tolerances. In the past we have often turned surfaces that would require grinding, to hold the tolerance.
We provide vertical machining capabilities, sliding headstock capabilities, and 3-axis machining - up to 52mm diameter. We work precisely, and rapidly through our optimised machining processes.

K & M Engineers Pty Ltd is an Australian owned repetition manufacturing engineering company. Established in 1939 by founder Alan Kinny, K & M began as a small garage-based operation. Solely trading in automotive repairs and electric motor reconditioning. K & M quickly matured from a small backyard business, into a strong factory-based manufacturer.
Being family orientated, Alan employed his wife, son, and grandchildren to solidify the strength of the business. Now operating out of Carlton, K & M is just as strongly family orientated; currently being managed by Ross Kinny (son of founder Alan Kinny).
K & M has undertaken prestigious work such as assisting "G. A. & L. Harrington" with the manufacture of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Torch, as well as being rehired for the 2004 Athens Olympic Torch.
